2. Two Ability Enhancement Compulsory Course:
   1. Environmental Science
   2. Communicative English/MIL(Assamese,Bengali,Hindi,Manipuri,Nepali,Alt. English)
3. Under CBCS a student must select any one discipline,except the core discipline for Honours Course from the following list of Elective Generic(GE) Course:
   1. Economics
   2. Political Science

   5. Mathematics
   6. Philosophy
   7. Any other courses available at the time of admission as per Gauhati University Provision
